BAKE SALE—On
the weekend of July 17-18 Haley Maddox will have a bake sale to help
with her pilgrimage to the Medjugorje Youth Festival. This festival is
attended by over 50,000 youth. |

Progressive Dinner to benefit the Clay County Food Pantry will be on
July 23, 24 and 25. The dinner will be held at Hayesville First United
Methodist Church, Oak Forest United Methodist Church and Meadow Grove
Baptist Church. |

SAVE THE DATE—Sunday,
July 25, is the date set for our annual feed the homeless effort in
Atlanta at Trinity ministries. Please save the date if you’re
interested in going. More details will be available in early July.
THE CELEBRANT SINGERS—will
be returning on the weekend of July 24 & 25 to provide music for Masses
at both of our parishes. We will need homes for 13 women and 11 men on
the evenings of Saturday, July 24 and Sunday, July 25. If you can take
two or more members of the group please call the parish office
(828-837-2000).

ATLANTA SOUP
KITCHEN—Our annual Atlanta
Soup Kitchen trip will be on Sunday, July 25. We will depart from IHM
at 7:30AM. This year’s menu will return to hot dogs and beans. So once
again the theme will be “Bucks and Beans”. Trinity Ministries has also
asked us to collect underwear and socks for women and men as well as
some fun supplies for the children they serve. We will collect money to
purchase the food and have an “Undies Sunday” collection area in the
Commons. Sign-up sheets and complete information are available after
Mass. |
